Delightful to listen to, easy...
55 years ago, as a 7 year old, I used to listen to my grandmother in her back room playing the piano. Memories dim, of course, but somewhere deep down I can remmember her saying 'Stevie, when you're a bit older, I will teach you how to play'. She was a piano teacher, born in Hamburg and displaced by the war. I grew up, of course. And it never happerned. I don't know why, likely I just moved on to 'normal' kids stuff. Probably the greatest regret of my life. But what it did do is seal the sound of the piano deep inside me. So, when my son was old enough, my wife and I put some effort into encouraging him to play (my wife plays too, btw).
